TERMS OF SERVICE

Rabbits are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Please do not ask if our nest box babies or juniors are for sale. We do not keep a waiting list. Zwergeland Rabbitry is a closed rabbitry, and is NOT open to the public.

Rabbits can be placed on hold with a 50% non-refundable deposit. Rabbits will be held for two weeks, unless other arrangements have been made. We prefer cash or money orders for deposits made in advance. We do not accept personal checks. Paypal is available, please ask.

I reserve the right to refuse a sale or terminate a sale at my discretion. If I terminate a sale that I have received a deposit or full payment on, the payment will be refunded, except in cases where the rabbit is not paid in full and/or picked up within 2 weeks from the initial sales agreement.

Rabbits are sold as is but are guaranteed healthy at time of pick-up. As a buyer it is your responsibility to check the rabbit(s) over thoroughly for anything I may not have noticed. Once the rabbit leaves my possession I am not responsible for any health or physical problems should they occur.

I do not guarantee show quality, temperament or reproductive ability on any rabbit that I sell, as these are dependent on many factors. I will be up front with you about the potential of the rabbits, their temperament, their history, any known disqualifications, etc. Especially with young rabbits a lot can change as they develop. Also, with dilutes, even if young rabbits have matching toenails, they may not match later on. In the event that a rabbit dies within 48 hours of leaving my rabbitry or another difficult situation occurs, I do not offer refunds. I will, at my discretion, replace a rabbit with one of comparable value when available or credit an owner towards a new rabbit if a situation occurs that warrants it.

You may pick up your rabbit by appointment at my location, by arrangement at a show I am going to or at a mutually decided location. If you can't come to an arrangement that allows for pick up within 2 weeks, there will be a boarding fee depending on space availability or the rabbit becomes available for sale again.

Rabbits will sell with pedigrees unless otherwise noted or listed as " Pet Quality Bunny"

Rabbit prices are subject to change depending on their development, anytime up to my receiving a deposit on the rabbit.

Shipping is currently not available.

No sales to children under 18 without an adult present.
Please do not have your children call or have ask me to speak with your child.

Please bring your own carrier when picking up rabbits.

All sales are final. We will not refund the money for a rabbit if the buyer decides they no longer want the animal.

We do not want you to take the decision to buy a rabbit lightly. By buying a rabbit you are making a commitment to the welfare of the animal whether you are a pet owner, exhibitor or breeder. Buying a rabbit from me, means you have read my sales policy and agree to it.

If you make an appointment, please have the common courtesy to call if you are delayed or cannot come.
My time is just as valuable to me as yours is to you.

Buying Baby Bunnies as pets, because they are so cute ? Think again !

Baby rabbits are very cute for a while, but they will grow up. And they will grow up and go through bunny puberty.
This is where male and female rabbits can start to spray everything in urine to mark territory, and both male
and female rabbits can get aggressive. A rabbits personalities can change with puberty. A cuddly friendly bunny may
turn into a big territorial finger biting terror. When you get an older rabbit (>6 months), his/her personality
won't change much. We also recommend that children under the age of about 12 have parental guidance when looking
after rabbits. If a child wants a rabbit, the parents need to be prepared to help look after the rabbit and teach
the child how to handle and care for the rabbit.
